Accroding to Variety, Chloe Moretz, the young vampire from “Let Me In” in talks to play the role of Carolyn, the daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) in “Dark Shadows”.

Warner Bros. is rounding out the cast of “Dark Shadows” and is in talks with Chloe Moretz to join the cast of the supernatural drama directed by Tim Burton.
Johnny Depp has long been attached to play the vampire Barnabas Collins and Moretz will portray Carolyn Stoddard. Thomas McDonell, Michelle Pfeiffer, Bella Heathcoate and Eva Green are also attached.
Seth Grahame-Smith has penned the script, and Depp, Graham King, Richard Zanuck, Christi Dembrowski and David Kennedy are producing the big-screen version of the supernatural ABC TV series, which ran from 1966 to 1971.
Warner Bros. acquired the rights from show creator Dan Curtis in 2007 but it hasn’t yet set a release date.
Moretz has toplined “Kick-Ass” and “Let Me In.” She’s starring in Derick Martini’s indie coming-of-age story “Hick,” an adaptation of Andrea Portes’ novel, and Martin Scorsese’s upcoming “The Invention of Hugo Cabret.”
