53 HQ images of Michelle Pfeiffer in ELLE’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute has been added into OUT & ABOUT.
Tons of press articles about this special event about Pfeiffer and the other actresses who got honored, I especially like the one, from my brother Fran, master of PfeifferTheFace who posted on his facebook page, according to the FILM-NEWS.co.uk:
Michelle Pfeiffer has praised actresses who constantly challenge themselves.
The 53-year-old star has carved out a lengthy career by appearing in movies such as Scarface, What Lies Beneath and Stardust. Michelle enjoys testing her acting skills with different types of roles.
She was honoured at Elle’s Annual Women in Hollywood gala last night and paid tribute to other female stars who attended the event.
“It seems to me that we are all people who really love their work,” she replied when asked about the secret to being a successful actress. “And we really work hard at getting better and challenging ourselves. I love looking at their work.”
Other actresses to be recognised at the event included Jennifer Aniston, Evan Rachel Wood, Naomi Watts, Viola Davis and Freida Pinto.
Music-and-movie icon Barbra Streisand received the prestigious L’Oréal Paris Legend Award.
Michelle has no intention of slowing down and is working on several projects.
She recently finished shooting romantic comedy New Year’s Eve and gothic horror Dark Shadows. The star insists actresses who want to make it in Hollywood must be prepared to put in the hours.
“You know, we never rest on their laurels,” she smiled.
Michelle also has been asked about the opinion on Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in Dark Knight Rises, where she said: “She has the darkness and the comedy — she’s got it all! She’s going to be great.” And for her part in her next movie, Michelle called her and co-star Zac Efron will be an odd couple in NEW YEAR’S EVE, “We have a very unusual relationship, we’re sort of an odd couple. He only really hangs out with me in the beginning, because I bribe him with super-fabulous party tickets for New Year’s Eve, but then I think he grows a little fond of me,” Pfeiffer said.
