When Claire Spencer meets ‘mother!’!

We were talking about how the ‘mother!’ trailer reminds us of Claire Spencer from ‘What Lies Beneath’ yesterday, a role played by the same gorgeous MICHELLE PFEIFFER in year 2000. It was 17 years ago when the wife of a university research scientist believes that her lakeside Vermont home is haunted by a ghost – or that she is losing her mind in ‘What Lies Beneath‘; now a couple’s relationship is being tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence in ‘mother!’.

Both stories takes place in a empty big house, only Claire Spencer seems always alone when Jennifer’s house getting more crowded and crazy with the uninvited guests, but the WLB tagline seems works well for both of the movies – ‘He was the perfect husband until his one mistake followed them home.‘
