Michelle Pfeiffer Attends the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards with husband David E. Kelley

So the 69th Emmy Awards finally finished, although Michelle didn’t win the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series/Movie with her superb performance as Ruth Madoff in ‘The Wizard of Lies’, our beloved lady earned all the praises for her perfect look at the ceremony. As always, Mail Online said Michelle is Flawless and VOGUE called Michelle an Ageless Beauty:

It seems that Michelle Pfeiffer has located—and dipped a toe in—the proverbial fountain of youth. The 59-year-old actress, who stars in Darren Aronofsky’s latest film, mother!, took to the red carpet at tonight’s Emmy Awards in Oscar de La Renta showcasing a brand of ageless beauty worth a double take. Aside from a health-centric lifestyle, which was broadcast from head to toe, the actress relied on a menu of classic beauty notes primed for emulation.

A frame of glossy, golden lengths, with a middle part, tumbled over her shoulders in soft, slightly separated curls, the vibe tiptoeing between bohemian and glamorous, the tipping point found in the set of statement earrings that flashed from beneath her waves. A timeless palette of blacks (coated on lashes) and nudes (painted on lips and dusted on cheeks) colored the above-neck look, leaning away from of-the-moment notes in favor of those that are tried-and-true. But it was the luminous glow of her complexion—a sign of meticulous tending, rather than heavy-handed makeup—that made the moment truly memorable. Just add shimmering lids and a knowing smile, and you have a Pfeiffer-inspired moment designed to skirt decades.”

‘THE WIZARD OF LIES’ is directed by Barry Levinson, examines Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme – his deception, lies and cover-up, all as the financier’s wife and sons are catapulted into a harsh and unrelenting spotlight. Michelle and Robert De Niro worked for HBO for the first time and both earned their first Emmy nomination by their brilliant performances, Michelle plays Ruth Madoff, a rather passive role compare with all the characters she used to play, here’s a summary of critics review on her which we posted on the site in May.
