Honestly, I love every character she plays! But if I had to choose one it wold have to be Susie Diamond from the Fabulous Baker Boys. First of all, she is simply amazing in that film. Secondly, she has the most beautiful voice. Thirdly, one can only imagine the hours of hard work and dedication she put into that role; it shows how much she really cares about her characters and her performances. We get to see her passion in every role she takes on. And lastly, she is the most inspiring and beautiful woman, and has been my role-model since I first saw her on the screen! I love her!!!!

My favorite performance of hers has got to be the character Rita Harrison Williams in “I am Sam” because I think she really digs deep there. The scene where she talks about the problems of “people like me” (meaning beautiful, intelligent, rich attractive people) somehow manages not to be condescending to the impaired character played by Sean Penn. It’s an acting master class.

Of course it’s Susie. She had me at “Man of My Heart” and she sealed the deal as she sang “My Funny Valentine” as the credits rolled. Michelle revealed hardcore Susie’s vulnerabilities with her incredibly expressive bloodshot almond shaped eyes. The girl could act and proved it even further as she melted the heart of Daniel Day Lewis in “The Age of Innocence.” She claims that she has yet not given her best performance. I am hopeful that she lands a script that will allow her to give that performance and that equals her talent.

My favorite character (not to mention performance) without a doubt is Angela de Marco in “Married to the Mob”! The lengths Angela will go to to teach her son right from wrong, the value of working hard, making an honest living, and living an honest life, is gripping! After her husband’s death, Angela has the option of continuing to live a cushy lifestyle, a life that she’s become accustomed to, but instead, she’s willing to give it all up so that she and her son can have a life that they she can be proud of. In order to make that a reality, she picks up and leaves, and sets out to do it the hard way.

What I love about Michelle’s role as Angela, is that Angela is not merely a pretty accessory for a kingpin. She’s gutsy, and she demands control over her life. She’s willing to get down and dirty with the best of them! She has to be tough, but not so tough that she loses all sense of humanity. Her naivety is also endearing.

“Married to the Mob” shows that Michelle not only does her homework, but also how dedicated she is to mastering her craft. As an Italian-American, let me just say that her accent was unbelievably spot on! Had I not known it was Michelle and what she actually sounds like, I would have totally bought that she was from Long Island. I still hear her “I wanna a dah-voorce!” in my head! lol.

“Married to the Mob” proves that Michelle was born with the ‘funny gene,’ something she doesn’t believe she has.

Thank you for the contest, thank you for your Facebook page, and thank you for your Instagram! I love turning on my phone, opening the Instagram app and seeing Michelle’s beautiful face day after day!!!

My favorite role for her was Katya in Russia House. She was very convincing in her role and worked so well with Sean Connery. She made it a great movie.
