First Trailer of Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford in Showtime’s “The First Lady”! | February 18, 2022

‘The First Lady’ Trailer: Viola Davis is Michelle Obama, Michelle Pfeiffer is Betty Ford and Gillian Anderson is Eleanor Roosevelt.

Showtime’s upcoming anthology series “The First Lady” just released their first trailer and the studio also revealed the premiere date will be April 17, 2022.

Michelle Pfeiffer plays Betty Ford, and Aaron Eckhart is Gerald Ford. Younger versions of their characters will be played by Kristine Froseth and Jake Picking. Dakota Fanning plays their daughter, Susan Ford. Michelle looks absolutely outstanding as Betty Ford in the trailer, she’s funny, she’s emotional and she’s tough!

“The First Lady” is produced for Showtime by Lionsgate Television, the 10-episode series, created by Aaron Cooley, is executive produced by Oscar winner Cathy Schulman (“Crash”), who also serves as showrunner. Oscar and Emmy winner Susanne Bier (“The Undoing”) executive produces and directs all of Season 1.

Here are some screen captures of Michelle Pfeiffer in this amazing trailer:

Michelle also started filming the promotional materials this week, thanks a lot to her hair stylist Richard Marin and makeup artist Valli O’Reilly for their sharing on IG!
